★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking to get a massage and walked past this place and was pleasantly surprised as they just opened, and has a 10% off for the month of July (2020) as an Opening Special. Their price is pretty reasonable anyway and I enjoyed my Chinese massage with Kiki who has an amazing warm pair of hands and studied TCM which shows.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the staff were lovely, the massage was certainly interesting. We popped in after a lot of walking hoping for a foot reflexology massage. I waited approx. 10 minutes for the masseuse to arrive and when she did, she looked very flustered and looking for a foot spa. She then put on plastic gloves (that kept falling off and scratched against my skin) and I had 45 minutes of just light foot/leg rubbing. No sign of any reflexology and I'm not sure she had ever done a massage before. After seeing random rolls of toilet paper lying around, my suspicions were confirmed when my husband advised that he was twice offered "extra services" and had to listen to strange noises in the next room. Left us with an icky impression.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A one-star rating is more than generous. A 15-minute back, neck and shoulder massage left me in agony, unable to move for 4-5 days afterwards. After explicitly telling the lady "softer, softer" over and over again, it was as if she didn't care. While I was receiving the massage an older lady was present and watching over the younger lady giving me a massage, they were both talking to each other in a foreign language, stopping and starting the massage to go and sort other things out in the next room—it was the opposite of relaxing, and to be quite honest, uncomfortable. Once the massage was finished, she proceeded to scrape the oil off my skin with a dry paper towel.
A few months later I decided it was a good idea to go get a quick foot reflexology on the way home after a long day walking (maybe they could redeem themselves—who knows?). What I experienced was more like a foot and leg rub with plastic gloves. The same older lady also sat and watched. Please bare in mind both of these occurrences took place in the waiting room behind reception. How relaxing and private, right?
My partner went for a massage here the other day also, not aware it was the same one I had complained about previously. He told me about arguing ladies in the massage room, telling the lady half a dozen times to go softer, then being in so much pain he ended the massage after 20 minutes and left early. He now has very sore neck and shoulders from being handled dangerously.
I am perplexed that this place is allowed to operate—they clearly have no clue what they're doing and have the ability to cause some serious damage. They show no respect for the body, no respect for privacy, no respect for relaxation, and no respect for health. I will never come back here again, and I urge others to avoid this place too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to check out R&H after coming back to Wellington, desperately looking for a good Asian relax massage. Glad to see Coco again! The same great skills and knowledge about how our bodies work, and certainly more experienced over the time dealing with all kinds of requests. Coco gave me a good massage with a lovely release in the end for all the stress I had. The place remains tidy and well looked after. And good to know it's now opening later into the evening. Price remains competitive for what's on offer, and I recommend either the 30 minute or one hour full body. I'll always go back for another visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good service and premises. Coco took my massage, and she was very friendly and welcoming. The massage was decent, and Coco was able to help me get a nice release. A bit more expensive than some of the other businesses around, but Coco is definitely worth the wait. Happy to come back and try again, and maybe that will turn into a 5 star.
