β β β β β I came in enquiring about second hand record players and asked if he knew of other places that sold them. I had to view to buying vinyl from here once I've got a player. But not any more. What a rude individual with a poor attitude. He spoke to me like a child in bad mood. I recommend Slowboat, a few doors up.

β β β β β grumpy owner not very welcoming at all, i never want to step foot in his outdated record/vinyl store, so many better stores around which offer better customer services and options. don't bother wasting your time with a borderline bully of owner, he's not a very forgiving person, also very stubborn almost to the point were I feel something is wrong with him.

β β β β β One of my friends accidentally broke a part of a record player and payed for it immediately with no questions asked however in return, the owner swore at us and treated us with no respect which is no way to treat a potential customer. When we returned and asked for an apology, he simply denied what had happened and then contradicted himself numerous times with no intention to apologise for swearing at us. Would not recommend this establishment as there is a perfectly good one with friendly staff up the road.

β β β β β Love the huge variety of items to look at. The sale tables are my particular favourite. A real blessing to visit when in Wellington ?

β β β β β Living up to the cliche of the arrogant record shop owner grump. Completely unhelpful and rude as many other reviews have stated .This guy has been scowling at people who come into the shop for years and completely sours what should be a joyous experience. Can never understand why misanthropes even bother to get involved in customer service. Dont support them. If you want a good new vinyl experience check out Southbound Records in Akld. Great online website and friendly enthusiastic staff. Better prices too.

β β β β β Mediocre. RPM has a range of new records comparable to that of some The Warehouse stores. Prices were somewhere between reasonable and expensive. Staff were quite snooty and couldn't answer my questions about some of their products. On my trip to Cuba street, RPM was the most desolate store I visited, and reading a lot of these other reviews has shown me why. Honestly, if JB Hi-Fi surpasses RPM on range and price, and Slow Boat Records is a few stores down the same road providing a much nicer experience, there really is no point in stopping by. Barely escaped a 1/5 due to at least having a nice store aesthetic, but that's as far as I go for praise.

β β β β β Visited yesterday and enjoyed my short stay. I was met by a male and female staff and didn't see any of the behaviour noted from previous reviewers. Its my type of store and recommend you take the time to see for yourself.

β β β β β An absolute treasure trove. I could spend hours looking through the extensive record collection on offer. Awesome to see more recent releases available as well as a good hip hop selection. Whenever we visit Wellington my wife goes shopping and I spend my hours here. Love it.
