1 - Beats AUX was stolen by their mechanic. 2- I drop my car on 13 Dec 2021 and it fully repaired on 28 april 2022 {They took 5 months to repair some small things} I am not happy from their service my car try to stole by thief but he did not steal anything but when i drop my car at there shop my beats AUX was missing when i pick my car first time i inform on reception my Aux is missing its stolen by your mechanics and show them photos as well but nothing is happen it's still missing. My car's starting cover, lock, window glass and horn button are broken and it took 5 month to fix these things. Whenever I call them, the recepnist starts yelling at me and tries to convince me that repair is not included in your claim but insurance keeps saying everything's included whatever is damaged. Their customer service is poor and makes a mess in the car. Whatever repair is done by then it's not repaired properly all the parts they replace are second hand parts. My recommendation is don't leave your car with them please find another mechanic or shop if you really want to repair your car.

Car went in for repairs after being stolen. It took 6 weeks and a couple of visits out to Petone to get the car only for it to not be repaired. Finally I got it back, still not repaired completely. Took it home recieved a parking ticket for the time it was at RS Lane. Rung 4 times and left messages (as no one answers the phone) trying to sort out the ticket and finish the repairs. Got no response until I complained to the insurance company. I'll never use this company again, it was a nightmare and really poor service. Ohh the work done was average.. They fixed a broken window and didn't reconnect the electrics so it wouldn't work

Update 2: After 8 weeks of having my car it was finally ready to be picked up. Since the last update they managed to order the part but for the wrong side of the car. Seems like some massive internal comms issues. Glad it's finally over. Have let AA Insurance know about this provider. Update: The promised completion date of last Thursday was missed yet again. They say they'll start working on it today... That's 52 days and expectations are low. Is it reasonable to wait 7 weeks for minor damage to be fixed on your car? All the while not having a loan car? Reviewed down from 2 stars to 1 star. -- AA Insurance recommended R S Lane to me after my parked car was crashed into. It's been 40 days, and R S Lane still haven't completed the repair. The time elapsed itself isn't the issue though, so I hope they can use the below to better their service. My experience goes as follows: - About Jan 15th I get in touch with R S Lane. - A couple of days later I take it in for an assessment. They have a very flash assessment centre, I'm feeling hopeful. They say that getting parts may take up to a couple of weeks but hopefully less. - We're told we'll be informed when we can take it in for the repair itself, and that they understand it's rather urgent since I have to drive across country in two weeks (had to make other arrangements in the end due to car repair delay). They estimate it can be taken in within the next ~2-4 days depending on parts. - About 5 days pass and I hear nothing, so I call to check in, stressed with my upcoming trip. "We'll let you know" + told that the parts person still hasn't ordered anything or even looked at the case yet. - Finally a couple of weeks later we get a time to take it in. We do. - It's taking ages to get an update so we call again, only to be told that there's a delay on parts. - I get a call saying that it'll be ready for pickup tomorrow! A family member had gone to lengths to be able pick it up only to be told on the day that no, it's not going to be ready for another week (if true it will mean ~30 days total in their garage) So here we are still waiting to see if it'll be ready next week or if we'll be let down again. Travel has been delayed while we work around bad information from R S Lane, and lots of stress. It would have been fantastic if you: - set realistic expectations (the staff member at the assessment centre seemed to do this) - communicated regularly with honest information - gave updates when you said you would - ordered parts early if you knew that was going to cause a delay - gave accurate follow up and completion dates Two stars because despite everything, the staff I've spoken to have been polite and seem to be trying to help.

It’s my first time to get the service from them and my experience was brilliant. Very fast service, cooperative staff. When we got the vehicle it’s very clean from inside. I 100% recommended to everyone to get service from them.

This was my first time and also my last time I sent my car to RSlane due to a really bad experience. My car was with them because of my insurance company. Very poor internal communication, staff didn’t know what was the status of my car as they couldn’t see it on their system and got to ask someone in charge. Changed the pick up time a few times and gave me all kinds of reasons and when I finally picked up the car, they didn’t recharge my battery so my car battery was flat when I reached home. Also the car was very dirty with all the grease and marks. It took them 2 and a half months just to fix my car ignition and the rear small triangle window. Their website says guaranteed the shortest time? I don’t think so.

I can’t speak more highly of Maddie,Michael and the team at RS Lane Petone. From the minute I had my accident they made me feel so much better and I knew my car was in good hands. The communication and support was fabulous and during the process & my car is fixed and clean and in the best condition ever after it being fixed. Thank you so so so so much and while I hope I never have to see you again (hopefully no more crashes) If it does happen, i’ll be back at RS lane in a heart beat. Just a bunch of absolute superstars. So grateful. Thank you :-)

I wish we had read the reviews before coming here. No one seems to know what's going on. Still waiting to hear back on when they will fix an air vent that was broken during some body work (in Jan 2022). Last week I was told to bring the car in and they'd fix it, I did that only to be told when I got there that they had ordered the wrong part. That's car number 1. And, when we collected the car in January it was filthy inside, covered in white dust and still had spray paint on the windows from their work. Car number 2 had body work done as well (this is all through our insurer as a preferred supplier). The front passenger door was replaced and since then the front passenger window doesn't work from the passenger side and neither does the passenger wing mirror or the left side speaker. I haven't even bothered raising this with them as it's not worth the pain. Just a painful place to deal with. Definitely won't use them ever again, it really shouldn't be this difficult to get decent service.

Poor Customer Service. They damaged door trim while panel beating my car. It took them 3 months and numerous emails to get this door trim fixed. The repair took less than an hour. Then they didn't even apologise and it was like they were doing me a favour. I understand mistakes happen but if you own them, show some remorse and make it right in a timely manner it goes a long way. While I was in reception I heard another customer ringing to complain about damage they had done undertaking a repair so appears it is not an isolated incident. A heads up that they also, after repair, leave the interior of your vehicle dirty, with mud spread from boots and hands (see photos). Surely a bit of plastic on the floor of the vehicle or take your boots off? My car was in for repair twice and this happened both times so worth mentioning. They do clean the outside which is great. It is a shame as I can not fault their actual panel and paint work, they do a good job but the experience of dealing with them and their lack of attention to detail means that I will not be using RS Lane again and I do not recommend anyone else using them until these things change.
