A	Anita Postlewaight on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a rubbish experience today and I hope it’s a one off. We arrived at 7:15 and waited an hour for our food. We had one drink while we were waiting - they missed a trick by not offering more drinks and letting us know it would take longer than usual. We were left in the dark and clock watching. The food was very nice once it arrived. We had fish and chips, fish of the day and Dr Feelgood salad. We were offered a drink on the house to make up for the late delivery of the food. It felt like too little too late. A bit of an update and plying us with drinks while we waited would have been a better approach.
P	Philip I Biddick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4 of us went in today to get dinner we where told the restaurant was fully booked out but it was pretty empty so we said I just get a drink at the bar which the guy at the bar was good then after some time we worked out you can order a meal at the bar side but the Lady when I ordered with didn't want to take my order by trying to avoid me then she gave me a attitude then she complaned the she has had a 17 hour day. definitely she didn't want to be there

We hadnt been in a few months so 3 of us decided to go for an early dinner. Nobody around to seat us so we just sat down. Had to find someone after waiting to be served. Worse fisherman's basket i have ever had. Looked like it was out of a cheap frozen bag that was thrown in a deep fryer. 3 types of horrible seafood and chips. Over cooked and terrible quality. Would never buy that again. How hard is it to do a great selection of seafood when you're charging for a great meal. The others i was with were not impressed with their meals either. Left really disappointed. Not sure whats happened with the staff and chef but they need to do something differently. They have always been good. Maybe an off day. Heard from others in town that the food has gone downhill. Maybe a staffing issue. Not sure.
b	benjamin goderon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burgers and pesto pasta were great. The burger was really long to come, but the really nice waitresse from the sport bar gave us 2 complimentary drinks as apologizes. I will definitely come back !
M	Morgan Payne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing, ordered 2 meals and although they were quiet, it was a big wait. When they arrived, the pesto pasta had no signs or flavour of any pesto. Then after a little bit, we found a metal shaving in the food. We sent it back and they said they would make another one, by the time it arrived all meals and drinks were finished, just as this one was starting. A real shame as the location and character has a lot of potential but you still have to follow through with good service

The only issue was how warm the room was at night even with the window open. The rooms need fans. Overall, a great experience and would definitely stay again.

It has a dining area, lounge-type place, a few seats out front, a public bar with pool tables and a garden bar with some shade and a music stage. Love it

Between different pizzas and pastas all the dishes were delicious. The seasoning as well as the cooking point is very good. You can also see the part of kitchen from the salon, and you can pick that the kitchen and very clean and the team is very well engaged, being very well coordinated and works with efficiency. I am positively surprised with this place. Highly recommended to dinner at the Harbour View Restaurant if you are in Raglan.
