★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hired a surfboard today and had a quick chat with Ray, the owner. He’s been in the surf industry for over 32 years! And has this shop in this location since 2008. It is well positioned, just at the entrance of Ngarunui reserve, easy to find and he’s always there, lives few steps away. He builds all sort of boards and I tried the minimal, which I liked so much that I decided to buy it! Prices for hire are currently $35 for 1/2 day or $50 for a full day. Worth a visit!
