Anyway, real nice guy and with all I have done over the years, I was a perfect fit for this role I am now enjoying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was gutted that my application wasn't followed up on, even after calling and being promised that I would be contacted.
I'm gutted because Randstad was the reason I got my current role, and I couldn't say enough good things, however now they missed an opportunity to help me find my next opportunity.
Getting the basics right like follow up and ownership are really key in the service industry - I know Randstad can do better.
Edit 20/1/22 despite replying to my review, no one from randstad ever followed up with me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand why any recruiter will reach out to a candidate with a role, ask them to email back if interested, and proceeds to ghost them once the candidate had sent over the email.
Why does Randstad think getting people's hopes up and wasting their time is professional or acceptable?
