ONE DRAW BACK THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR COOKING OIL ON A REGULAR BASIS. HENCE SOMETIMES YOU GET FRESH FISH COOKED IN STALE OIL.
80% OF THE TIME IT'S GOOD.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rathgar Takeaways..hubby and I agree..the best, freshest fish n chips! First time we ever saw a sack of fresh fat mussels cracked open before our eyes and deep fried in tasty batter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time there. Chips nice and dry, fish one of the nicest tasting I've had in ages. The hamburger was a little bland, but then I had requested no mayo. All in all, 9 out of 10. Nice clean premises

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cant say enough how great my local fish n chip shop is. Always friendly , always fresh, good size portions [highly recommend the new crumbed fish yum!] . Always busy ,which says a lot!. Ask any local outside while waiting and they will say the same. Support your local [if they are good] especially through these hard times. I know it is hard running a small family business with rising costs and rents and yet trying to keep prices down to keep customers happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a great shop, not sure why but the quality has taken a steep dive.. like the oil isn't being changed or something? I'm really not sure. Just chips are not crisp or nice anymore, fish is average and the deep fried foods come out dark brown..
Sad cause this used to be the best in the neighborhood. C'mon guys, bring it back!
