β β β β β My sister and I took our mum here for mothers day, we've been here plenty of times previously. The food was good as always, however, it was a shame that their service wasn't as great this time around. It was somewhat busy, as expected, however, everyone was given a time limit of one hour to eat, but weren't told of this till 5 mins before the hour was up as they needed the table. You could see some unhappy customers around the room, as they were told they had to leave in a few minutes. Not the greatest experience, however, the food was still tasty!

However, their serving is really slow. We ordered 6 dim sums. We got told that durian mochi was sold out after 50 minsβ waiting. Egg tarts were cancelled too because it was served cold after 40 minsβ waiting. We spent more than 1 hr for 4 dishes. Felt like a waste of time.

β β β β β A friend of mine hosted her 21st dinner here and we had a group of 15 or so turn up, we all loved our dinners and the staff were incredibly accomodating.
I would 10/10 recommend to anybody. They have a great range of meals that accomodate dietary needs too!!

β β β β β One of the most disappointing meals I have had in along time. The young watress was very charming but all down hill after that. The rice was not brought to the table with our mains even after asking for it. Pork was tough. Chicken veggies and cashews had no flavor and the squid was chewie. I shall not return.

β β β β β This is one of our favourite Chinese restaurants in Christchurch and, although it has recently changed hands, it is still as good as ever. Our waitress explained that she was still in training but there was no need for her to explain this - her service was very efficient and friendly. The dishes we ordered were all very tasty and nicely presented and came out in a timely manner. Our only very minor criticism is that we would have preferred some music in the background rather than the Chinese TV cooking show.
Will definitely return.

β β β β β We have been here many times, and have found it to be very good. This time, the restaurant was pretty quiet at 1pm. We already mentioned we wanted Peking duck at the time we booked. It came out very soon after arrival. Our waitress was amazingly quick and attentive. Food was great, as usual. The only disappointment was they ran out of stir fried rice noodle dish! Great pity.
Now, the bad. We ordered a couple of dishes to take away. The portion sizes were pitiful! It's certainly the worst value for money of pretty much any other Chinese restaurants we frequent in Canterbury.

β β β β β The service for lunch today was amazing! Massive shootout to the young lady who served us. She was absolutely the best! A high chair was promptly brought out for our baby without request which was awesome too. Food was great (like super delicious, fresh and just yum), but it is the service that will remain with us. Thank you for such a great experience.
