★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic bike ride. Also would be nice to walk. Well maintained ex rail track with lots of history information along the way. You hardly realise you are climbing. Several tunnels to go through so a light on your bike or a torch would be useful. Take a picnic as there is a lovely grassy area with tables at the summit (train) station. Great swing bridge built only this year crossing the gorge about half km from summit. Toilets at start and at summit were very clean/maintained. Well worth the visit.
