★ ★ ★ ★ ★ my wife went in during the past week while we are getting ready to repaint our house, she was helped by a lady who has just started with Resene, we think her name is Mel or Meghan. She was very helpful and tried her best to find out information for us if she did not know the answer. 5 stars for this lady. My wife made a point of remembering her due to her willingness to accommodate our many questions.
1 star however for the Indian lady, who was so rude to both this new girl when she asked for help, also visibly annoyed at being asked questions that she was very abrasive and rude to my wife.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have visited this store 3 times in the last 2 weeks buying test pots. Each time I was served by an extremely abrupt unsmiling woman who seemed in a hurry to get me out of the shop. Today I came in requesting a large sample of Triple Duck Egg. I was informed they dont do that colour! I said I have a test pot so you must do it! Muttered apology and then told they dont do large samples so I described a card about double A3 size and printed on the back was multiple versions of the colour name and spec like a small label. Said that a friend has some. Manager came from out the back and again said no such thing and suggested I go to Newmarket. I came home and found them on the website - they are called Resene Self Adhesive Labels. The website does say they are only available to specifiers and designers and I didnt know this. But the staff could have listened to me and checked the website. Not good customer service to be told I am wrong twice over in one short visit!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The young man (who's name eludes me) was so friendly and helpful today, bringing the buckets to the car for me and calling different locations for missing products. Keep it up Resene, and pat on the back for this gentlemen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was very poor by a woman that served me today at 18/09/20 around 2.30pm (lunn Ave) .
As a trade account holder I've visited this store many times and have been served well by a gentleman that is usually on shift (on break this time) .
I've been to many stores throughout Auckland for many years for painting projects. However, I've never had a bad grumpy unwelcoming service like today with the raised tone attitude. I'm not sure if I want to carry on supporting Resene paints with service like that. I ended up just leaving. Hope Resene sorts it out as other people didn't look happy either!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been into the store quite frequently over the last few months (while buying just about all your testpots to try the colours) and have had really great service everytime. I was having some trouble pinpointing the right shade of grey and was helped by Farosah and she was informative and helped me narrow down my colour to Grey Chateau which looks stunning. I noticed before posting my review that their were some reviews mentioning her but my experience has been nothing but positive and she has served me mulitple time over the last few months. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor customer service we arrived 2:55, five min before it was close and we were pushed away from some of the employees (young kid) . I don’t recommend the store, this kind of behavior is what kills business and economy. Very disappointed. He even did not ask why we were there, we just needed to get a paint that we knew the color, Resene NZ lost one sell of the day .. but who cares ???
