★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bad shopping experience, dealing with a rude female staff member. Someone who clearly does not know how to speak to customers.
After a simple inquiry about the availability of a product, I was given the curt reply 'in my 20 years I have not seen an item relating to that movie'. When I said the item was on their website, her arrogance extended to the reply of 'we'll look on the computer to see if the item you thought you saw is on there'. Upon checking their own website, the item I inquired about was there and available to order.
I don't expect staff to know all product items, but I do expect a polite and helpful response. The response I received was anything but.
How unfortunate our experience in this shop on this day was spoiled by one rude member of staff. At a time when Auckland shops are encouraging the public to shop local and spend, this staff member had clearly not seen this message.
This is the first Google review I have ever submitted and I have waited 24 hours after our experience to write this review. I was so annoyed by this staff member that I thought it necessary to express my disappointment.
