★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Discrimination shown in this cinema despite having two medical certificates from two different doctors saying I can't have the vaccine, they wouldn't allow me into the cinema. You can't get a medical exemption from Ashley bloomfield unless you are in a mandated industry! Cinemas should know this. Cinemas in Auckland accept medical certificates. Thoroughly disappointed in this illogical bureaucratic approach when it's obvious through the science that vaccinated people are just as infectious and are catching Covid. They lost 3 customers today, two of whom were vaccinated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'd go somewhere else if the film you're seeing is playing in another cinema. I saw Dune there because it had the most convenient showing time, but I do wish I could've seen it in a proper cinema instead...
I wasn't expecting a big screen, but I was surprised by the low sound quality and some light interference from the exit sign.
On the plus side, they show lots of movies that you won't otherwise see in Tauranga, and the seats are comfy.
