★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic cinema! Pretty reasonable ticket prices too. Popcorn still wildley expensive like all other cinemas but have some good combo deals.
Sadly a little trashed this time after school holidays. Half the toilets out of order and some of the sinks not working in bathroom. Sad to see first hand the lack of respect people and kids have for places like this

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The seats were great loved the way they reclined, even though I'm on the taller side it still felt nice to sit in. The food was great, I loved that the choc tops had different flavors. Definitely would recommend going for anyone in the area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst customer service, swear about customers after they sold out of stock items to them then refuse to give them, seats sticky full of pop corn would not refund combos that were no longer stocked and refused to change then to just popcorn with out the extras. Staff are extremely rude stand ignoring customers when it is packed cause people to be late and missing the start of their movie.
Toilets were absolutely disgusting and stunk considering we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Would recommend going to event Cinemas at the crossing or city central before ever coming to united at bay fair

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No lighting on stairs - very dangerous for elderly. Music and talking coming from rear of cinema? From next door? Constant throughout Downton film. Seating comfortable and nice clean foyer. Please sort lighting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic cinema — one of the best I’ve seen in NZ. Can’t speak to the negative reviews; we were in the GMAX theatre and everything from the seats to the screen and sound was fantastic. Cleanliness standard was also high, and the decor unique and luxurious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This movie theater is really cool. The decorations make it look like it's from the past, and you really get into the fact you are in a theater. I love the 8nterior of the screen rooms also it looked very classy. The screens are only average size, and for some reason the good reclining chairs were up front, too close to the screen where usually you would not want to sit, so I chose the standard seats which were perfect. I love this cinema, thought it was great! I will most certainly choose this as my go to for films while I am in Tauranga!
