★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm all for supporting local businesses, but this was a real disappointment. Lamb was over cooked, potatoes and kumara were too big and very dry. Stingy on the gravy and no seasoning on anything. I don't like to be critical, but I can do way better at home! Won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tiny serve for money..... $15 roast 'meal' barely enough for an adult. Came with 2 dry potatoes, small cube of kumera, slushy greens and a teaspoon of gravy. $15 can do a family roast to feed 4 people from the supermarket around the corner. They did not try and rectify, deleted my comment, then blocked me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best roast pork I've had so far! Very tender meat that was not over-seasoned. Salty crispy crackling to complement. Will be back to try the roast beef and leg of lamb! The beef looked like it was done medium rare ? Can't wait ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I had Roasted for dinner on the weekend and it was fantastic! Friendly people, the beef was super tender and delicious, the pork melted in your mouth, and the crackling was to die for! Topped off with well seasoned veg and gravy, definitely will be back soon for more...
Oh and the potato salad was great too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Roasted is the best place for takeaway in Island Bay - it's become our favourite in all of Wellington, actually. Everything we've had here has been absolutely delicious, but their roast pork is SO good and it's what we order every time now. A $20 meal includes a choice of meat and heaps of perfectly-cooked vegetables, with gravy and applesauce to boot. That plus a side (such as the meatballs or half of a stuffed butternut squash) is perfect for two - a great deal if you ask me, for healthy, hearty food with no work involved whatsoever. This has become our Friday night tradition and we look forward to it every week!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have friends that travel from all over Wellington just to pick up some food from this place. It's consistently very delicious. It's at the higher end of the price range for take-aways, but I've never been disappointed here as the quality is very good. I've tried everything they serve now and you just can't go wrong. The staff are friendly and inviting and the atmosphere is warm and relaxed.
Bonus points for environmentally considered packaging. Ka pai

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is fantastic. It's exactly what is advertised, and well executed. The owner really seems to care about the quality of the food and the meat preparation is always great.
Some people are complaining about lack of seasoning, which isn't normally a part of this style of meal being sold. Maybe the owner could consider having some seasonings available, however we've always found the natural flavors from the food to be more than enough ?
