★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a hair stylist who not only knows her stuff but can make you look and feel great... go and see Eva. She is the BEST EVER. Plus the salon is beautifully equipped with fabulous products and serves a delicious coffee!!! What's not to love???!!!

He caters to my need for constant change when it comes to my hairstyle & colour and now I just leave him to do what he wants with it!! 10++ stars :-)

Dentist, Doctors and of course a new Hairdressers.
I am one for research on google so set about this needing a haircut
I decided to try Rocco not only through reviews but also gut instinct!
I wasnt disappointed as the experience was as i feel it should be:
I didnt feel uncomfortable walking in
I was made to feel welcome
I was introduced to my stylist
I was taken to sit down and chat about my hair and what i wanted
The salon isnt loud like some
It is relaxing but also friendly
There are conversations but not invasive like some places where you can feel bombarded by questions!
Most of all it isnt a rushed experience like some salons where you can feel like a squeezed in number for the day to make a profit
This is your time and a lovely time at that with the result of a great hair cut, look and satisfaction!
I didnt go back for sometime because i moved albiet not too far but tried somewhere more local twice but...... i have now gone back and thats where i will stay because that great experience is still there!!!
I have also just purchased a trial size of Davines shampoo and conditioner and tried today after using Kevin Murphy for quite sometime and so glad i did!
It is nourishing for my tinted hair but not heavy like the Kevin Murphy i was using
The people on reviews who say Davines leaves their hair tangled i would assume are used to using a chemical loaded brand with silicone.
It takes time for your hair to get used to natural, chemical free shampoo but so worth it!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I definitely wouldn't return. My hair now has an obvious stripe in it - perhaps when it was 'mulched through' the colour wasn't left in long enough and it just hasn't taken. A lot more was taken off the length than I asked for, and there is a blunt shorter layer of hair part way down, but what I had asked for was for the weight to be taken out of it/thinned out. It sits really badly and looks weird. Don't risk it - go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did a clever thing by listening to my female colleagues when they recommend Rococo. We had just moved to Wellsford and I was on the hunt for a good hairdresser. I thought the drive to Warkworth was worth it because my one indulgence is my hair. Not that I have a lot of it and what I do have is as straight as straw. But not that coarse; I have fluffy-light, blow away, dead straight hair so I get very nervous changing stylists. Oh how I love Eva!! She is brilliant! So after a year up North we moved back to Auckland and I still travel to Warkworth because I still think it's worth it. The crew are friendly and chatty and Eva is just brilliant - love her to bits. Did I mention she is an outstanding stylist?
