★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10 Dec 2021 UPDATE - one block color, wash, dry & straighten, done by "assistant". Then assistant was told how to put dye on properly, then told to clean dye up from floor, then assistant told how to straighten hair properly. This cost me $225. Very disappointed! Staff have changed so probably why they overcharged me & did such a hideous job! Don't waste your time or your money!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ it was a horrible experience. i was just trying to enjoy a haircut and the workers kept talking to me and tried to make small talk about my life. i was making it extremely obvious i was not interested and i told them i didn't want to talk and just have it done. i asked for a trim and got 15cm cut off. do not come here. you will regret it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my hair done by the lovely Ivy today! I was so happy with her service and the quality of her work! However the colour was just a little darker then what I was looking for. When I communicated this, Ivy was so lovely and booked me in to make this small adjustment right away.
I can imagine it would be very hard for hairdressers to know the exact colour that customers want, so it was really appreciated that she was happy to book me in right away and make this happen.
Thank you so much for having me today, I highly recommend booking in with Ivy or with any of the RodneyWayne team. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my hair done here a few months ago. I booked in for a grand balayage, treatment and cut. I wanted to add some cool brown to my dark hair. The lady who did my hair was so lovely, but it was poorly blended with my natural colour and she ended up bleaching almost all of my hair. To make it worse, my hair wasn't even toned and it was just solidly yellow. I called them when I got home saying I wasn't happy and that I'd like to come back to have it fixed, which they happily agreed to. I went back and my hair was toned slightly, but it instantly faded within the next day or two. I absolutely hate complaining, but I was so disappointed as a student, having to fork out almost $400 in total for a disappointing cut and colour. I didn't even bother to go back a third time, just ended up box-dyeing my hair back to dark brown the very next day. Super disappointed as Rodney Wayne prides themselves on being colour specialists and their website doesn't even have a place to make formal complaints.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in on the fly and asked to get my hair curled with the straighteners and was able to be seen straight away . Was more expensive than I thought but left it in Del's hands and boy did she deliver... she dis a fantastic job and will definitely be back to have this done again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rodney Wayne St. Lukes is not only poorly managed but has seriously bad customer service. I have booked sessions online with them and after reaching the salon(literally running with two kids to be on time) got turned away saying they don’t have my booking on the system. I showed them the confirmation email which they refused to honour. In my opinion, Rodney Wayne’s online booking system is horrid and you can certainly not rely on it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked for a blowwave straight and style straight with straighteners. Lovely lady, very thoughtful and supposedly attentive. Unfortunately missed the mark. She dried my hair with the hairdryer then just proceeded to start straightening with hot tools. It was coming out frizzy straight lol. Her boss/manager lovely but still didn’t seem to know what she was doing. Please hire more experienced people. This was a simple task
