★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No written notices about how to connect to wifi. Have to do it via hotspot. No comfy chairs with usb plugs beside them. Only bar stools with no backs or a half-circle chair cushion thing. Food is all gladwrapped i dividually which made me wonder jow lobg it had been there for,so i had none

In the centre of Mount Maunganui and Tauranga so a 15 to 20 minute drive will get you everywhere in the city.
Has a cafe, drop off, short and long term parking.
There's a newarby aviation museum and a swag of aeronautical based businesses on the airport grounds.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What is the point of advertising yourself as a 'licenced cafe' when you dont serve alcohol unless the manager is there. If you say you're licenced and bottles of wine are in full view then sell alcohol. Those of us who are nervous flyers like a quick drink before boarding to take the edge of. Unacceptable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially visited for a coffee knowing Saturday morning parking in the Mount is a premium. We took a punt that there would be plenty of parking at the airport museum cafe, and there was. We enjoyed a perfect cup before deciding to check out the museum. There is so much to look at, so much history. Lunch in the cafe followed. A delicious control tower stack. This then led to a scenic flight over the Mount and Tauranga. A perfect day for it, cloudless sky and no wind. Overall a great experience.
