★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Check which places you wish to visit are open. Several attractions are closed 3 days per week and or have reduced hours. Lots of shops are closed completely. Rotorua is still a great place to visit but it requires more careful planning now. Unfortunately service is slow in restaurants so allow extra time for a seated meal. Otherwise takeaways or a bakery are a good option. Try to visit a thermal pool at least once. Your travellers bones will thank you!
