★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing place. Really awesome and authentic Indian food. We stayed for lunch on our way to Rotorua from Auckland and really loved it. An unexpected treat, all the dishes were perfectly balanced and full compliments to the chef. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for a dine in as a large group and service was the worst we had received especially from an Indian lady wearing lots of red bangles she very rude from the minute we arrived wanted to take order from us for drink as we sat down and hadn’t even given us a menu to pick our drinks from when the menu was asked for she was not happy at all no sorry or any apology of any sort. When main meal had arrived she was not happy to distribute the meals through the table when she was told that part of that order was for the other end of the table she said just pass it on from here I am not going to the other side because it’s heavy ( there were only 4 dishes on her tray ) when some of us went for 2nd drinks she was not happy about that either I really suggest her to attend a customer service training or find a position that doesn’t involve customer service. We have been here a few times but since the change of ownership this was the worst experience we have had. Food was very good but people serving meals were horrible hence made our experience not a pleasant one at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had curries from here a while back and they were good. Had a takeaway one recently and the gravy was watery and this affected the enjoyment of the meal. If the gravy had more body to it then the meal would be fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited for family dinner on Sunday night (15/5/22)we have been here many times before also and we have recommended this place to many of our friends. Now this place is not same anymore.
It was very long wait for food even it wasn't busy on that day. After the wait food served was tasteless and poorly cooked. Chicken curries wasn't cooked properly.They are just using the name ROYAL CAMBRIDGE for sales otherwise service is very poor nowadays. Will not RECOMMEND THIS PLACE to anyone from now onwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food and fast service. The food is tuned for non Indian crowd. May not find authentic flavor. The staff has to be told about the tricks on Indian food style, you may not get any good recommendations as they know nothing about Indian food.
While I was at the restaurant, not once I was asked if the food is good and how I liked my water.
Good vegetarian options that's what gets my full marks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place in town!! Amazing service and great atmosphere. The curries are out of this world - so much flavour and very generous portions. delicious foods ?? specially Afgani chaap and mashroom are my favorite. and garlic naan as well . Amazing food and friendly staff . i often go there.

Faluda and soya chap was the wining dishes. The mains were lovely too. Would recommend to visit this restaurant. Really nice food and friendly staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome food at this place in Cambridge. We have gone to Cambridge from Auckland to have dinner there. We have been there a couple of times. All the items that we ordered during these two visits were really delicious, from starters the to main course, everything. Didn’t take any photos yet, maybe next time.
