I began my career in property management in Rotorua almost 20 years ago where I worked as receptionist and then property manager. After three years of working in the industry I took time out to have a family. Relocating to Tauranga I worked in the property market for two years before relocating and establishing ourselves back in Rotorua. In recent years we have built a successful personal portfolio which are now all under the management of the Russell Hardie team.
As an Investor myself I understand the importance of having things run smoothly and efficiently. As Russell Hardie Property Management has grown we have evolved, constantly learning and implementing systems to ensure our service is the best it can be. Since then, Donna and her team have been proactive, have advised me of any work needing attention (for those reviewers that have complained about lack of action, that is on the owner), kept the property at market rates, and helped nurture a long term tenant that knows how to look after the property. Also, as an offshore owner, Donna and team have been very helpful, in helping me meet the healthy homes requirements. If I were to summarise Russell Hardie in one word, it would be "Professional".

Donna at Russell Hardie has been managing all our properties for about 8 years now and we had been through a few other managing companies prior but Donna and her team have been fantastic and the best Property management team in the area. Their role is not an easy one juggling Tenants and Landlords and I feel they are strong but are very fair in balancing the Tenants needs as well as the Landlords.
Highly recommended.

You expect to move into a rental how it was advertised on Trademe or Realestate.co.nz and in clean condition (A staff member said the house will be cleaned prior to moving in).
This is not what happened. I won’t go into detail of what is wrong with the house, but I will say this house is not worth $620 for a poorly structured 3bedroom one bathroom property. Yet there is a outside single bedroom sleepout and toilet that said on Trademe it come with the property.
