★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay, I spent 4 nights here while away for work. Viki was very accommodating over the phone and again in person. The Holiday park offers a wide range of facilities that are maintained very well, as well as beingg dog friendly, which a lot of places are not. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely clean and tidy park. Lots of facilities including a pool, playground and lots of nature walks. Great for us and our grandchildren and added bonus for us is that our little dog could also come with us. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back again next summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have a fantastic stay at the Russell Orongo Bay Holiday Park! Staff and other guests were all very friendly, only a short drive to the shops and beaches. Our campsite was in close proximity to all the facilities which were all great.
Only criticism is that the bathrooms and kitchen seemed to be cleaned frequently at busy times of the day.
Would absolutely visit again :)

This was our first time in Russell & I cant recommend it enough.
We loved our stay at Orongo Bay Holiday park, from the salt water pool to the accommodating staff (We moved sites with ease) to the kiwi sounds at night. The kids came home & said they missed sleeping to the kiwi sounds :)
I adore that this fabulous park welcome all families. We had the most relaxing time & the family have already talked about booking in our next camping trip back to Orongo Bay Holiday Park!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took our church youth group for a 4 day stay in January 2022. What an AWESOME place! Great facilities, great service, private, family friendly and clean. Our crew absolutely LOVED the pool, pizza oven AND the chickens. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time staying here, we loved the laid back style! The fire pit area was magical and awesome to be in nature cooking some meals too.
The pool was a hit with the kids and well maintained, the wood fire pizza oven was also really good. Kids made awesome camping friends and the staff were really helpful, thanks for a great stay :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous holiday Park in a perfect location. We loved our family stay here. Plenty of activities to keep our kids entertained. Getting back to nature was just what we needed. Friendly happy atmosphere, great staff and owners. The pizza nights were great fun and the kids club was a huge hit with my daughter. Thanks for a wonderful holiday, we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a beautiful place for a family or a big group of friends to stay! Surrounded by native forest, with easy and lovely bush walks or a track among Mangrove trees. You can watch the sunset over the bay, or the amazing night sky. Gorgeous, helpful and friendly staff; clean facilities with so many options to cook - fireplace, pizza oven, bbq; in proximity of beaches, wineries and stores. Definitely try the free range eggs! One tiny negative note - tent sites are a bit small and at the busiest time of the year it's a bit crowded. It would have been great if the sites were twice bigger. Apart from that, everything was great!
