★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were spoilt by Wendy and James who had a box of chocalates and a bottle of wine as well as an upgrade. Great room and facilities, location and fantastic service. We will definitely return. We are grateful to them both for their generosity and hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was everything we could have asked for from a hotel. We stayed for a whole week. Very clean room, soft warm bed, nice heaters, and quiet (we requested a room away from the main rd to be sure). Not every room has a full kitchen, but we got the family room with a brand new oven. The showers get wonderfully hot with average water pressure. (Didn’t bother me one bit, but for some people that’s really important so I thought I’d include it) The owners also seem like genuinely good people, and were very hospitable and helpful. Loved this place and would definitely stay again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've stayed at motel Russell three times now. James and Wendy are the perfect hosts and make all the difference to making it a speacial holiday. This was a our third stay and once again the rooms are perfectly clean, great beds, beautiful pool for the kids and really well organised. Plenty of room to park and clean the boat as well. Thoroughly recommended.
