★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware when using the carpark, passed out people in the stair well and seemngly homeless people drinking there as well when you access your vehical. Otherwise nice rooms and quiet with a great buffet breakfast! Will use this if I fly up next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our week of MIQ was made so much more bearable than we anticipated thanks to the wonderful staff here, so grateful for everything they did for us. Food was wonderful, catering to dietary requirements and a wee baby so well. Staff are super friendly and helpful, can’t thank you guys enough ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed there during my MIQ. This was my first time ever in New Zealand and the staff at the Rydges made my introduction to the country a pleasant one. The food is amazing and I had a magnificent view of the harbor. I was able to watch the sail boats from the comfort of my room. Hopefully I can stay there again under better circumstances.

Great clean rooms. Nice and central, close to the Sky tower, Countdown and lots of eateries. Buffet breakfast is basic but delicious. Room service was quick and yummy. Will definitely recommend staying here and will be back again
