★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sanehs in Ellerslie was a lovely first time dinner experience. The restaurant was very cosy and pleasantly styled and the staff was super friendly and hospitable. Being avid Thai cuisine lovers, we ordered our favourite go-to dishes of Gai larb, garlic pepper prawns and mixed entrees and the dishes were delightful. The larb was more savouries than I prefer to citrus in predominance and the entrees were good. We shared a chocolate cake fir dessert and that was fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blown away. Ordered the Panang Curry Tofu and absolutely loved it. Crunchy vegetables, flavourful, spicy curry sauce and tofu that soaked in all the goodness. My Dad ordered the Chefs Special Salmon and it was also delicious, the Salmon was crispy on the outside and soft and melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, perfectly cooked. The staff were great, the portions were generous (including the wine!) and I got to sit on a comfy, cushioned seat by the window - exactly what I needed after a long day. Will definitely be returning here soon! An easy 5/5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was amazing, no offense on Chef. But the lady on the counter was extremely rude. We just politely asked her to split the cost of a meal and she said she won't do it and we should never come back, if we bother her with such requests. She was being disrespectful and we told her it wasn't acceptable. Instead of apologizing she went on being rude. If your maths is horrible,please get off the counter. Totally unacceptable. Never going back!

Easy parking on the street. We ordered chicken salad and sizzling plate for two people. We each ended up paying $6.75 per dish!
Very healthy ingredients. But nothing too special ingredients wise for the taste buds.
Their medium spicy is spot on.
At this price nothing can be wrong.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was so highly rated on google so my partner and I decided to try a takeaway from here. We were so disappointed and unsure why it’s rated so highly. Our meals were very expensive for a takeaway meal, $45 for two meals. The portion sizes were tiny which was upsetting when paying so much. I got the fried rice and my partner got the Thai cashew nut. The fried rice had no flavour to it and I was very disappointed. The Thai cashew nut was nice but the portion size was so small it made it disappointing. I never write reviews and if I do I always hope to say something nice but for the price point and portion sizes these meals should be a lot nicer.
