★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to Thailand, eaten Thai food all over the world and gotta say this place was average. The portions were OK, the food lacked the real spice of Thailand and the usual condiments provided to spice up your food were lacking and when asked for they just bought a small bowl of powdered chilli. The flavours just weren’t there, so it’s an “average” from me. Having said that I was hungry and ate it all as the portion was not generous

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thai Archer always delivers a wonderful dining experience for special occasions. Staff is very warm and attentive and food service is very prompt. The cuisine is always delicious, served to your spice palate and we always leave well sated and happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tom Yum was pretty bad, did not taste like Tom Yum at all. After paying extra for shrimps, got not just one wee shrimp, but 2 shrimps, pretty unbelievable ? The other dish was ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haven't seen such poor service and attitude in a while. Have been there a few times and the service has been deteriorating. Food is poor but the attitude is unbelievable. Extremely rude and disrespectful. When we complained about service levels the response was appalling. Seemed that all they wanted was us to pay and leave. Could barely wait for us to finish our meal. Would give them zero stars if I could. Not recommended unless people want to get totally insulted. Waste of money but more so time. Should have not spent so much money here with staff making faces. Wish I had read the reviews before going !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to like Thai Archer and would always go there a lot and recommend to my friends. I used to love the red curry chicken and knew the menu number of by heart. But now I stopped going because of the multiple price rises and because the curry just doesn't taste the same maybe because they adjust the recipe or something. I'm so glad I discovered Malaysian curries. But on the other hand I'm really sad I lost one of my go to places.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very nice. More casual style of Thai food, not too fancy, but that’s what gives the restaurant its authenticity. I love how they have pictures of people in the hallway, it shows culture and heritage instead of just being a plain restaurant.

- Tom Yum Talay soup which is strongly sour and spicy;
- pineapple fried rice which is very good with sweet pineapple, roasted cashew nut and prawns;
- crispy squid which is average and good Mayo sauce;
- Pad Talay with combined seafood which is creamy and a little sweet.
It is about $25 each person
