★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive. Don't like how the bedroom with double bed is upstairs. Staircase is too narrow and steep to take up heavy suitcases of touring foreigners - had to leave them downstairs. Beautiful decor through and unlimited wifi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The apartment nearly provides everything you need for a long/short stay, from fully-functional kitchen, clothes washing machine, microwave, and so forth. For the one I stayed, the bedroom and bathroom are separated with main living room/kitchen, which is quite good if you want to cook something your own. The room is prepared tidy and clean, especially in bedroom and bathroom.
Although I didn't meet owner Maria in person due to my itinerary, I did contact with her before arrival, and she was quite nice and helpful on my credit card change issue. When you arrive at the premises, you will be greeted by a note with your name on it and the booklet on the table contains almost every information you may need at Lake Tekapo, from activities, restaurant menus, notice, store business hours, and so forth, just like a mini i-Site in your room.
The location perhaps is the one people may have concerned with, but not for myself however. It's located about 3 minutes drive from downtown, and although it's not directly along the shore of Lake Tekapo, you can easily walk to Church of the Good Shepherd in about 10 minutes. If you don't want to stay just near downtown, then Scott Street Apartment is one of the good choices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was great, super clean and warm as The beds were comfortable and everything you could need was provided.
My only recommendation would be better sound proofing between the top and bottom level as we could constantly hear the upstairs guests. Other than that it was perfect.
