★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty average service really - abrupt, unhelpful, couldn't supply any of the required parts, couldn't even point me in the direction of someone else who might be able to help. Was thinking of taking our two Euro vehicles to SD for servicing and maintenance, but won't now. You live or die by how you treat your customers, and considering how unhelpful SD are, i'm surprised at their current Google review rating. Even if you can't help, a little manners go a long way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was happy with the customer service and convenience (they had courtesy cars available at short notice). I was also perfectly happy after the first time I'd been here for an oil & filter change on my e90 BMW. However, when I came here again for preventative replacement of the water pump and thermostat, it all went wrong. First, the new thermostat installed was faulty and started leaking within a couple of weeks. Eurosurgeon in Auckland fixed this for me. To their credit, SD European refunded me the cost of the faulty component. Now, the water pump has failed after only 25,000km (normal service life for these is around 80-100k km). I was left stranded on the side of the motorway during peak hour traffic and have now got another problem to sort which should not have been a problem in the first place. Not keen to go here again now after having been stung twice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What the hell?? I had my car’s cambelt done, dsg serviced and a wheel alignment done and not only did SD get it done same day - faster than quoted. They did it for less than their quoted price! Considering their quoted price was the best I found, I’m stoked. Can’t recommend them enough. Will be my one stop shop from now on. Congrats SD European :).

If you drive a euro car, take it to SD Euro and rest assured they know what they are doing & their vast experience with these vehicles means they are able to offer advice & a course of action that made sense and gave me great confidence in their organisation.
