The gentleman here has exceptional skills as a cobbler, capable of reviving dead footwear or even improving on poor manufacturing found throughout the industry these days. The workmanship and advice here is definitely worth the money any day; I'd easily pay more for the same work.

Definitely recommend for any sort of shoe fixes and very upfront about the cost. The turnaround time is pretty decent few days to a week, but okay to collect a little later if it works for you.

Did 3 pairs, on one Crinkled the leather when I was getting my soles replaced. Only did one side of a pony boot with a mismatched non-fur patch. Left chunks missing out of a heel repair for the third. Was $150. Really disappointing.

Not very friendly, I just want to get some key cut and want to know how much. There were no service... 1 guy was talking to lady about shoes repair.. I waited for an extended while, he didn't even stop me when I leave. Could have ask some one at the back to come out to check on me or just stop a little while to check if I am a quick job or get my contact etc... Nothing. Business must be doing well to afford loosing a new customer.

I was so disappointed! If you can’t do it then please say no rather than a bad result!

I discovered this place, as I was walking around Newmarket. It is truly an impressive sight to see almost a rustic store smack in the middle of two VERY modern buildings. This was a few years ago and I've never been back since. My understanding of a cobbler is that they can help with "rejuvenate" or "restore" or "repair" leather shoes. Perhaps, I may have misunderstood this concept of a cobbler. I had a pair of chukkas from Timberland that has seen better days, and I thought I would go in there and see if they can help rejuvenate my chukkas. To my surprise the lady there told me that they don't polish shoes. I was really confused why she told me this, as the shoes clearly needed more than just a "polish". She pointed out to some of the products that they sell; so that I can do it myself. I'm still not sure what to make of what happened. Perhaps, the shoes just needed a quick polish. Perhaps, cobblers don't do simple polish or any polishing for that matter. Perhaps, Timberlands ain't exactly the creme de la creme amongst leather shoes brands. I wanted to patronize their business, give the underdogs a chance, stick it to the man. As impressive as I was, looking at this quaint little store in amongst modern, contemporary retail/commercial environment, I shall reserve my Salvatores, Ballys, Clarks for somewhere else. It is a pity, as I really wanted to like the Shoe Sheriff, only to be disappointed.
