Kevin was one of, if not the first NZ dermatologist to specialise in MOH's surgery, a procedure giving far superior outcomes than having cancers removed by your local GP.

I have been spared skin grafts and can’t thank him enough for taking the time and using his surgical skills to avoid a skin graft and the extra time this would have meant for healing. His theatre staff are very friendly and caring. Thanks Kevin and your team.

A few years back he treated my acne and I have been going to him for my acne scars (deep tissue scars) and you won't believe I have been to so many other centres no difference but just in 5 treatments my face is so better. Staffs are also so nice and lovely. My favourite nurse is Olivia .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been seeing Kevin and Olivia since April as was misdiagnosed at another clinic. He diagnosed my skin condition correctly straight away and put me on the right medication. 7 months later I now have zero acne and rosacea and have seen them several times for scarring and red marks. I’ve had picoway laser and excel v plus and my skin is glowing. They also manage to treat my dry eyes with tixel and it’s been a game changer as I can now wear contact lenses again and all the sinus congestion has gone. Couldn’t recommend them high enough! Love Kevin’s direct honest approach. It’s so refreshing and he absolutely is the top of his field. Olivia is wonderful and very skilled.

Dr Kevin McKerrow is a Whiz- Bang dermatologist.
I had suffered from Poro Keratosis gradually worsening over the years.
Doctors and skin specialists had despaired at the severity of the problem. Eventually I was referred to Kevin by my G.P.
He dealt with basal cell carcinomas with skill over a number of years and pioneered the glad-wrap and Efudix treatment which has been totally successful.
Another innovation in low dose Novatretin has stabilised the condition.
For the improvements he has pioneered, he deserves full recognition and has my full recommendation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't expect Dr Kevin McKerrow to gush all over you! I found him to be a man who speaks to the point, whilst showing empathy and demonstrating expertise in both his diagnosis and preparation of a treatment plan.
He is well supported by a kind, efficient and compassionate team of nurses led by skilled nurse manager Lucy.
Dr McKerrow was recommended to me by another well known skin specialist for potential Picoway laser treatment.
I am really happy with the outcome, and with the attention I have received from Skin Specialist Centre and would happily recommend to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went for an initial consult at the Skin Specialist Centre with one of their specialist nurses regarding laser treatment. Thanks Lizzie! . From the moment I stepped in I knew I was in good hands. The staff are very medically literate… I far prefer their medically robust approach rather than the so-often “false “ promises from beauty salons . Even Dr McKerrow popped his head in to give me more information. I highly recommend he and his team. Can’t wait to start working with them. Thank you
