★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called in to get their view on repair or replace. I had to ask all the questions. The person who dealt with my query showed little interest in me. All he could say was that they were flat out, couldnt say when the job would /could be done. Only said we could repair but I would see where the chip was. I phoned another company and the difference in response was huge. They are doing the replacement for me. I see it as a bit sad when a company simply gives business away like that. The service did not replicate what their advert on TV implies by a wide mark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ three trips to get window screen fixed.. first time they broke the replacemnet window and had to put in another one that was not in correctly so wind would be heard going fast speeds.. second window and glue everywhere on inside and outside of the car we had to go back to get the missing bits from the car they left out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a failed WOF I went for a new windscreen. It needed to be ordered in. It was wrong one. The correct screen needed to come from overseas.
After some time of waiting I contacted S&S to see progress. I then got a text to come in the next day. It wasn't there. "what are you doing here" says the manager. Week following I went back. Left car for fitting. Later that day received a call saying they could not fit screen as the Lane detect had a fault. Car had to be trucked to Christchurch to get a diagnosis. Course of fault. A dirty windscreen. Car first went to S&S Timaru 20 January 2021. It did not get the new screen fitted and then returned to me till 25 March 2021. Found staff cavalier, unprofessional. I suggest when you make a mistake you dont blame the computer. If there was a minus score they would get it. However Christchurch Central Smith and Smith Branch was outstanding. Fitted glass, got WOF and delivered back to Timaru.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had to wait a week and a half for a screen change, then I left my car with them for another week and a half and had abysmal customer support, no replies after multiple calls to their contact number and no info on when the job would be done. I'll never be going back.
If you had replied to me as quickly as you have here and kept me informed of progress then there never would have been an issue :(
