Instant communication from the owners made us feel very welcoming as well.
Would definitely stay here whenever we're in Turangi and would recommend to friends and family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VERY disappointing, no towels, no sheets, we were not advised about this. We did not receive an email the day before which was supposed to give us instructions for getting in and using WiFi etc. Only found this out after calling the number given by Booking.Com email on our arrival at 19h00. WiFi did not work, no milk to make coffee. The unit smelt old and mouldy and the carpets were worn through with stains etc. For what we paid we were ripped off. I would never recommend this place to anyone. We were horrified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traveling from Auckland to Turangi for a family Snow get away an after our original place letting us down i managed to book this place for our 3 days! Communication between the owner is 100% , the place is clean an perfect an cosy highly recommend especially if you've got a family!
Would be booking here again an again an again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Myself and 3x sons stayed here. A very nice tidy warm space. One tea-towel to use, no dish cloths, otherwise, I am coming back! Shower over bath. Washing machine and dryer, Wifi, garage with remote controlled door. Suited our needs for a one night stay? Thank you Smokebush Cottage!
