★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'ai passé une journée de pêche à la mouche magique. Richard connait la rivière comme sa poche et nous avons parcouru 5 ou 6 spots. La journée s'est finie avec une Arc en ciel de 1,5kg et une fario de 2,5kg. Beaucoup de sensation en une seule journée. Je recommande vraiment ce guide pour découvrir la pêche à la mouche en Nouvelle Zélande.
(In "french" english) - I spent a magic day with Richard fly fishing in the river. I managed to take a braun trout (5 pounds) and a rainbow trout ( 3 pounds). It was a lovely day, lost in the "buch" just with the river and the wild trouts around. Thanks Richard.
 I spent a day of magic fly fishing. Richard knows the river like his pocket and we have traveled 5 or 6 spots. The day ended with a rainbow of 1.5kg and a fario of 2.5kg. A lot of sensation in one day. I really recommend this guide to discover fly fishing in New Zealand.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The day we went out the weather was light drizzle which gave the whole hunt a real Kiwi flavour, full of atmosphere. Richard did us well and we hooked up several times and landed a few. Highly recommended!

The reports we were reading before the day indicated it would be a very tough day, but your attention to detail, knowledge of local spots and techniques ensured we had a very busy day. . . . . 13 quality fish in the net. Fantastic fishing, great banter and some awesome memories. If anyone reading this is after a guide, then without a shadow of a doubt Richard is your man!!

Katie and I really appreciated your thoughtful guidance on fly casting technique and your amazing ability to put us into the larger rainbows and brown trout in the river. You have an uncanny ability to spot fish, recognize and match hatches and recommend all the right seams and pockets to fish. We were thrilled to catch large browns and rainbows on our one- day trip with you and appreciated your selection of spots on the river and the great lunch, tea and snacks provided.
