β β β β β Great stay for budget friendly place! Excellent location near ski bus and grocery store, bars and ski rental place. Laura and her husband are very helpful and friendly, which makes for a nice atmosphere and you feel well taken care of. The beds were comfy, everything was spotless, great common area with comfy chairs, games and a guitar to hangout if the mtn is closed.

β β β β β We loved our stay here! Such a cosy, clean, affordable lodge in the heart of town. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Awesome common area with lounge suites, games, guitar, tv, DVDs, Chromecast.. also a great kitchen with everything you need! Staff were also so lovely. We felt very welcomed. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

β β β β β Excellent location for snowboarding at Mt. Hutt. The Ski Bus goes to snow denn to take us to the mountain.
The place was nice and tidy. The hosts were accommodating and very helpful.
I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay again on our next visit.

β β β β β Have been planning a trip to Methven to go skiing all season. These guys have been really accommodating with me having to change dates around and finally having to cancel due to issues caused with Covid. Didn't get to stay this season but will definitely be booking with them next time I'm planning a ski holiday.

β β β β β We got the full bed with an extra bed room in the backpackers house and it was exactly what we needed. Bathrooms and common room is really nice, staff seem super friendly and has a really nice atmosphere. They make everyone quiet at 9:30am which is super nice and we were able to sleep!

β β β β β Really enjoyed our stay at Snow Denn Lodge. Room was bigger than I expected for a twin room. Room and shared bathroom were both very clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable and appreciated having two different types of pillows to choose from. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when I'm in Methven next. Great spot with a short drive to the mountain β lets you get an extra hour of sleep compared to staying in central Christchurch.

β β β β β Great lodge for relaxing while walking Te Araroa. Laura was a great host and helped organise trail transport. Single room was clean and comfortable. Great showers, kitchen, and lounge area.
