β β β β β Beautiful coffee and food. Staff were absolutely lovely. Soul Breakfast and Pancakes were yummy. Will definitely recommend and will be back on our next trip through.

β β β β β Definitely not a place I would recommend for anyone. My wife and I sat at a table that had food particles left on it and quite a lot of food on the floor . I watched people leave and staff clear tables but not wipe them clean at anytime .the toilets where dirty and extremely unhygienic. Reminded me of Mogadishu. The food was disappointing to say the least poached eggs where overcooked bacon was so well done you couldn't cut it It would break up into pieces sausage was tasteless more like old oil . The wife's scrambled eggs had a grey look to them with black pieces in it that tells me they were cooked in an uncleaned pan . Completely unprofessional and badly managed.

β β β β β Such a welcoming and friendly team. Our Farmerβs Brekky and Scrambled Eggs on toast was nourishing and tasty, with a generous serving. Good coffee too. Cabinet food all homemade. Really recommend you give it a try when youβre in Taihape.

β β β β β Drove from Welly to Taupo yesterday and had researched a brekkie stop before leaving. Stopped here based on past reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. The eggs bennie was great, plenty of ingredients, well-cooked and piping hot.
Won't hesitate to stop here again next month when I head up the mountain.
