Good honest mechanics. They quoted to do a job, did it well and, amazingly charged less than what they had quoted. A high profile competitor in the city quoted nearly three times the price to do the same job. I will certainly be going back next time I need a mechanic. The fact they they have been in business trading under the same name for around 20 years speaks volumes about these guys

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Southend Motors has maintained my vehicles for the last 10 years. Some of them were over 20 years old and required quite a bit of maintenance. Recently I required a replacement bonnet and Southend were able to find and fit a good second hand bonnet, with the same colour code, at a very good price. That has been typical of their service, excellent work, but always sourcing the best deal in parts.

They worked really hard to ensure that my repairs weren't pricey. It was a complex job and the workmanship was great. They are all polite and great to deal with. Harminder and the team repaired my car again today. I took it in at 9am and they diagnosed it on the spot and had the car back to me at midday! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had driven from BOP down to Houghton Bay to pick up a boat on trailer that we had purchased of trade me. Boat trailer did not have WOF. Southend Motors friendly & helpful staff accommodated our need for a WOF check as soon as we turned up, even though their yard was full of vehicles they were working on. We got the WOF and were able to head back to BOP with a road legal trailer. Much appreciated, great freindly service
