★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointment that's all I can say about these paintings..7 years that took me to pay these off!! 7 years?? When I finally picked them up, all i felt was utter disappointment. the colour of the photo itself completely looks fake I mean if I wanted to customise the photo I can just do that on the app on my phone. I mean I can do that to my photos every single day..i paid 7 1/2 grand for a picture painting photo they say it's done professionally it just bulshit? if anything I should ask for my refund back I am just so disappointed in these photos I am not happy with them at all..I demand a refund!!they conned you into thinking it was very cheap in the beginning and it's not that expensive when it comes to the day that you go in to do the portrait thats when they come up with all these hidden cost where you don't even know about so I'm gonna look at my contract and see whether there is a way that can claim my money back..?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would never recommend this studio to anyone, we paid $500 just for nothing and the photographer wouldn't try to do what we want and our photos came out so bad and the cheapest portrait was more than 3k. It was bad customer service and would never go back there again or recommend it to anyone

I wouldn't personally put myself in debt for the price they charge for a 30 minute shoot.
Also charge an extra on top for a sitting fee of $55, it is only free for those who won a photoshoot.
No way!!!!
Would of been great, if they gave you the photos, while your paying them off, but not keep the photos while your paying them thousands of dollars for what would be carved wood framing and a photoshopped photo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ i took portraits of myself and my kids ehrn they were inky 3 years old. ive lost all my photos from that age and it was such a happy moment to see them again when they were that age. thankful for the lovely portrait great quality, abit tight on the pocket but definitely worth it. i am yet to hang these babies up?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I remember the stand at New Lynn Mall and I put my daughters name down. Only a couple days later I was called by their studio and told my daughter won a $1000 voucher. I decided to have my daughters photo taken here and although we only agreed to her photo/ portrait only, somehow we were coerced into having a couple family photos since he was running late. They put make up on me and gave me a dress .. which I thought was not what we spoke about which is why I was not dressed for photos.
In our next visit after the photoshoot, they presented the available portraits and I was told that because I had make up and an outfit ready for me, I had to pay for this (This was not prepared or requested by me but suggested by them). The voucher we supposedly won did not pay for anything but discounted what was already $3500 worth of work (1x A4 portrait and make up/ dress/ photoshoot). He tells you about arranging a payment plan as soon as the prices mentioned. Their price range and work seemed almost like a con.
I paid off this ridiculously expensive portrait as soon as possible and had to pick it up a couple months later, I was again almost coerced into purchasing more portraits. After a day or two I decided I did not want additional portraits and I remember Stuart saying something along the lines of 'I get that you want to cancel your order although I have processed this through already. I put in admin work, time and effort and you have now requested to cancel. I just want to express that it disappoints me to have had gone out of my way, and now you would like to cancel". I remember feeling guilty and apologising but then later I became angry as I realised that it was his sales tactic. I immediately felt for any others who may have agreed to purchase for the wrong reasons.
In all honesty, the quality of this portrait was good, but for 1x small portrait at thousands of dollars, it should be. The portrait style is very old fashion, and I'd say quite out dated. A lot of special effects. I ended up gifting this portrait away because the style is so outdated and that experience was so cringy it irritates me. I paid for other professional photos that were more of my daughter and less special effects.
Just beware that there is a reason why they do not mention prices until after the photoshoot. If you do not purchase a portrait, they will charge you for the photoshoot anyway or some other fee. It was a strange and unpleasant experience. I will not return and I would not recommend to any friends or family.

Stuart Riddall was pleasant to meet ? straight forward to the point just the way I like it. Cost is a bit far out but worth the value ? Thanks guys for an awesome experience.
