Just had the rudest customer experience that I have ever had within my 15 years of going to Subway. As soon as I walked into the store the server was projecting a bad attitude and was eager to get myself and younger sibling out of there as quick as she could. She was visibly frustrated with my younger sibling who had never been to Subway before and was having a moment to decide what to order but I understandably shook that off. When it came to my order I had asked for a mere few more olives, as I usually do and the woman making the sub stopped and rolled her eyes at me and proceeded to grunt some unsolicited rant at me. Over an olive Subway?? Really??? I will never go to the Ponsonby branch ever again. @Owner I don't need any suggestions from you thank you very much. I was not the one being rude. Very unprofessional. The head Subway office will be reviewing this.

This is probably the worst subway I’ve ever been to. I asked for some extra onions as I wasn’t taking two other veggies and the owner was behaving way too rude like he has to grow it in his backyard or maybe he wants to take onions home to cook.You just screwed up whole awesome experience of eating sub! My man this customer service is not even worthy of 1 star. This vibe isn’t great buddy! Wouldn’t recommend this at all !!!

I ordered through Uber Eats a few nights ago and had a veggie sub and asked that it not have the default avocado. It was pretty disappointing to see how thin the sub was - there were hardly any vegetables at all and very little cheese (I wish I took a picture of the inside of the sandwich). I have had the exact same sub all over at least one hundred times and have never been given such a skimpy sandwich. I wasn't even that bothered about it until today when I received a reply to my feedback through the app. I found the response to be quite snarky and the person that wrote it (hopefully not a manager or owner) basically called me a liar when I was merely giving my honest experience in order to help the staff and team improve guest satisfaction. "HI kristi I made your order my self. You only had 4 veggie in your sub so why whould i skim on them ? All footlong has 4 slice of cheese why say barely any cheese? IF you like more salad then just be polite and ask just like you asked for no AVO be kind. regards" I was generous on Uber and gave them 3 stars, but based on the terrible customer service via the reply, I have reduced my rating to one star here. I am a restaurant manager myself, and have dealt with negative guest reviews before and the goal is to ALWAYS rectify the situation and retain customers to ensure repeat business, not to argue with them and make them feel bullied for giving honest feedback.

As the saying goes, there's no smoke without fire and from reading the comments I can confirm the owners terrible attitude and disrespectful service to myself and subway that is going on here. You would think it would be easy to make somone a sandwich without being disrespectful or argumentative but surprise surprise you can. Safe to say I won't be back as thankfully there are tons of eating options around here.
