β β β β β I would highly recommend trying out Axe throwing with a group of friends and family, this was the third time going to Sweet Axe Throwing Co. I have had two birthdays there and has always been a great time. Throwing the axes was a lot of fun especially after learning the proper technique and having a competitive group. The instructors are very good and make throwing axes very easy to learn, we had Seth and Seb teach a group of 22 which is no easy task but they managed very well. We also had Lloyd who was running the show and switched things up to include a quick 5 minute relay involving the entire group, which was really competitive and everyone enjoyed it.

β β β β β So accommodating! I booked for the Auckland site accidentally, they opened up Wellington just for us so we didn't miss out!
Awesome afternoon with my 13yo daughter, we both had a great time. Lloyd was a great teacher, good for a yarn too. Will be back for sure (will check my booking first though). Thanks guys!

β β β β β The staff were amazing, H&S was first but they always made it fun. Some of our Social Club weren't sure what to expect but everyone got on board and had an amazing night. There aren't many great alcohol free fun events in Wellington, but this is one of them! Highly recommend axe throwing for team building and social events. Thank you Krista, Seb & your amazing team :)

β β β β β What a wicked experience! Would highly recommend coming no matter the age you are! Came for a 1hr session with 3 other mates and was so much fun. Lloyd facilitated our session and was awesome. Made you feel so welcome, had great energy and was super friendly. Also real supportive in helping if youβre a beginner. Big up Lloyd, give that man a raise! ??β€οΈ

β β β β β We booked a night of axe throwing for my company and we had the absolute best time. Everyone has been raving about it since. It was a novel experience and everyone working there is professional and so much fun. In planning the event, they were incredibly responsive and helpful and it all went off without a hitch. We're hoping to make it a yearly thing. Thanks especially to Lloyd, and all the other incredible staff for making it a night to remember!

β β β β β Axe throwing is so fun and the team at Sweet Axe are amazing! My partner and I went here for the first time on our third date and returned again this weekend. It was great to see Marcus and the team who let us warm up in a lane, it was a blast.
The group we were with both times were fantastic, great way to get in a decent arm workout.
Would highly recommend to anyone thinking they would enjoy it. Simply put you will.

β β β β β I visited the Wellington site with my work team this week and wow! So much fun!
My colleagues were a little bit concerned with the activity but Seth and George were quick to put our minds at ease. I was so impressed with the feedback I got from them both and how detailed they were with their feedback to help improve my throwing. So it was very satisfying when I was finally able to take their feedback on board and hit a sweet spot!
Thank you George and Seth, you were amazing and made the experience one to remember. We had so much fun and would love to come back in future.

β β β β β Okay let's be honest who hasn't found their family wandering around a city wishing they had a place they could get rid of pent up aggravation and have fun at the same time. Well lucky the Adams family we found SWEET AXE THROWING CO. We made a booking online and they were very good at communicating with us. We arrived prior to our booking, as instructed, to complete our waivers. We were greeted with a smile and were soon taken to our throwing stall after it was properly cleaned. SETH was our excellent instructor and after he taught us the safety procedures and how to throw an axe properly, it was our turn. It's harder than you think but seriously so much fun. Seth gave us a few pointers and then ran us through a few games. The hour flew by quickly whilst we were having SO MUCH FUN and that aggravation, stated earlier, gone. Smiles all around! We added a Champions package (socks, hat, tshirt) and it was a massive success, everyone left with something, not to mention the memories. My son became an Axe Addict which is a great program to throw more often. They have locations in both Wellington and Auckland. Do not hesitate, for the sake of you family or relationships, throw an axe or two. Trust me you will not be disappointed.
