★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure where my review went. I will outline my issues in further detail.
1) I messaged you guys whilst I was staying in the camp, I had some concerns. None of my messages were responded to. (I have photos of what I have sent). We were staying at your camp ground for 9 DAYS! Show some respect.
2) the security team don't seem to care when someone staying at the park is screaming at the top of her lungs for 2.5hrs. Screaming at a man who had locked himself in his van, while she was hitting and kicking it (causing dents).
3) the security team do not seem concerned when people are playing loud reggae music at 2.3O.
4) again the security team don't address a psychotic, violent person staying at the camp but oh boy do they come at you when you go slightly over the 10km/hr speed limit through the camp. If you are going to be hard ball on this which is understandable speed limits are important, show a bit of consistency and stand up to other issues too.
5) cleaning staff cleared away a bird nest in the outside laundry facility. A bird nest with brand new baby birds. Who does this?
6) no welcoming from staff members at all. Literally the most boring staff around. Why don't you have someone who comes around to check in on campers when theyve checked in? Other campgrounds do this and it makes the world of difference.
To say I am disappointed is an understatement and we couldn't wait to leave.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice campground close at the beach with heaps of space! A little bit aged facilities, like old toilets not flushing properly, and generally not too many power outlets for charging equipment. Also the close proximity to the airport is an unintended alarm in the early mornings! However super nice staff and overall I’d come again if I want to stay close to the city

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately our first impression of this place wasn’t the best… we contacted via email to book as on the website for the dates we wanted said to contact to book. I got a confirmation email saying a site had been booked for us by the beach. When we arrived we went and checked in and we were given a map of the place, and our site in the yellow zone was circled for us, we were then sent on our way. We drove to the site and noticed there were no other people in other sites around us, but believed we had been given the right area and so started to set up. A man on a tractor then came over, I believe his name was barry, and asked if we were lost. We said no this is the site we were given and showed him our map and he confirmed we were in the right place, but said that this area of the campground was closed and had been for over a month. He was kind enough to help us and radioed over to reception and found us another site, which wasn’t as nice and was in the dog area and quite run down facilities. We were grateful for the man who helped us out though as none of the people in reception seemed to actually be aware that they had sent us to a closed area and it seemed that the communication wasn’t the best. We would stay again if we were able to actually stay in one of the areas we booked for and when facilities are upgraded one day so you feel like you are actually getting your moneys worth :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the flight path! Massive place. Could easily lose your kids if you were trying to! Playground was great (new flying fox). Facilities weren't the cleanest. The camp ground is NOT non-smoking. Cheep.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view was awesome from our site. Walking on the beach, especially low tide really nice. Unfortunately we had a few noisy neighbors who started their music around 5.30pm and didn't stop til after midnight. Facilities looking very tired but gotta say shower pressure brilliant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff were pretty unfriendly when we got there. We came because it was advertised as "pet friendly". When we arrived, it became apparent that they are simply "pet tolerant". We were provided with an a4 piece of paper outlining the pet policy (which we had to sign) and spent the whole time being totally on edge that our dog might bark and we would get kicked out. I would not have gone if I'd known we would feel like that. The staff members attitude on arrival definitely did not help.
Spot was nice. Facilities were fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a please to stay here, so much for the kids to do and great location, you don't even need to leave the park to entertain the kids. The daily activities are a great way to keep the kids and adults entertained.
Negatives: The toilet blocks could do with an upgrade above the basic cabins and the washing machines serviced, I had several issues with washing. An upgrade on the cabins wouldn't go astray even adding a few more hooks on the walls and curtains that fit the windows ?. I was sad to see the awesome fort removed, (would have been cool to keep that and upgrade it to standards) and a flying fox and a few other things put in, this is a large space and could have made a really cool playground suitable for all age groups to enjoy.
