★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place with tired staff. Use this motel for 2 nights in-between our normal motel. No1 in reception, ring number on door and wait for someone to come. Leave a big deposit as they wouldn't have us otherwise. Unpak car into room and within seconds the room pH ringing to inform me stirnley our guests are extra. At this point it was me and hubby. By that night I had to ad a child to my guest list. In ringing I was thanked and told I'd b charged out of my bond. Only place I know of where u have to pay Xtra for a kid when the stuffs there n no Xtra fuss nt even a towel. I'd go back only if staff changed. Nice rooms and bed GD but not to modern

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A good place to stay, cozy room and tidy beds. Kitchen is well prepared with utensils, can do pretty much home cooking. 5mins walking to a nice beach behind the house, enjoyed a nice sunset

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Along my 14 day tour of New Zealand, this hotel has been the most impressive to date. The room is extravagant with a very comfortable bed and included in the price is very nice soap, shampoo, lotion, a bottle of milk and cold water carafe in the refrigerator along with a nice kitchen with every utensil imaginable. The staff here are as friendly as can be including the woman who checked me in and provided a map of the area and explaining in detail restaurants and attractions nearby. The grounds and parking are really well laid out, also. A great night's stay, thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some permanent residents not particularly desirable. I mentioned to Manager that he should suggest to clients a more suitable unit away from these people. Police turned up as we were going out for lunch and they were abusing the Police! We didn't hang around to see what happened.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got the room with a spa...literally, the bedroom has a spa in it. Pretty cool, fairly priced hotel. I would recommend to friwnds and family and will certainly use again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle motels have been awesome they are putting a lot of people after that a homeless and can't find a house to rent let's through Salvation Army I cannot grumble because it's a roof over our head and we do have a bed to sleep in at the end of the day but the managers are lovely???????⚱

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience of Castle Hotel has been marginal. The manager speak too fast and I was not able to understand them. It was like that I was not wanted or welcomed by these people to come and stay. It was like that they other things to do than talk.
