★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tudor Lodge Motel was a lovely experience in general. The motel is conveniently situated close to a couple of fast food chain stores and the locally acclaimed restaurant, Smugglers, the beach, children's play park and bus routs. All the amenities required like filter/instant coffees, tea, hot chocolate, fresh milk, Sky TV and shower goedies were available. The bedroom was eclecticly decorated together with a touch of oldenday hotel charm. The mattress was not the star of the show, but there were sertainly enough layers on the bed plus a electric blanket to keep me toasty during the night. Thank you for a lovely stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sean is a brilliant host, rooms are well appointed, modern and comfortable.this is always my first choice when in nelson, I have spent 20-30 nights here, it is close to the beach and food outlets, better then the others in the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The room was very spacious, there was a dining table and a couple of chairs and of course a queen bed. With a seperate bathroom and kitchen area. We only stayed a night but could easily stay longer with what is provided. I said it was a 10 but then thought nothing is perfect and room could do with a update but it's not a major in my opinion. Air conditioning too. Out of the 6 Motels we stayed in this was the only one to have 50 odd channels of Sky TV.
