★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we were not told that the restaurant was serving very limited dinners (had pitzas for 2 nights) and no breakfast. website makes proud statement about restaurant which is false. The least managers could have done was advise us in advance of situation as we would not have booked here in that case.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome receptionist upon arrival. She organized a early check in as we arrived with an upset 1 year old. Room was clean and tidy. Grounds needed attention, lawns needed to mowed, gardens cleaned. Spa and pool was a disapointment, place needs a reno as its listed as a resort???? Food was good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were highly disappointed with Taipa beach resort. It is DEFINITELY not a resort. It was more like a motel. The room was average, the fan wasn't working properly. We turned the fan on number 1 and it was literally almost coming off the ceiling. No toothpaste is provided. The things that made us more angry is that we were told upon arrival that no room service or restaurant or bar available .. (they should have change the confirmation email with all their services). When asked where is the nearest place to eat. We were told to drive 2 towns over! The spa was dirty with dead skin floating around and all the grass was overgrown. We tried to take a picture of the spa the next morning before leaving but the jets was going so it was pretty much mixed in there. The hallway was full of dirty laundry! Woke up in the morning with no Internet ( we weren't told that they would shut the Internet off) the whole area was dead point for cellphone services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The greeting from the resecptionist was wonderful and welcoming. The room had all you needed for comfort Very relaxing with a sea side view . The room service was exellent did not have to wait for long and when it did arrive it was delicious T-bone steak was amazing absolutely done beautifully medium rear. Thank you will definitely come back again . Worth the 5 star rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The 1 bedroom deluxe suite 702 was clean, shower pressure amazing, and the bed comfy; but the fold out couch bed was an absolute abomination! The phone in our room did not work, the front desk was unmanned, the 0800 on the sign behind the front desk was disconnected, and we had zero bars phone signal in our room so ordering room service was a huge mission. Did get there in the end, and while the food was tasty it was luke warm/cold on arrival, puzzling as our room was the closest to the restaurant. The pool and spa were put to good use as the weather wasn't that great for our stay, but a very handy location for walks on the shore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ cafe staff efficient, polite and knew their stuff. however website should not advertise lunch menu when it is not available. we went for Sunday lunch. we were a large party and majority of food came out cold - all breakfast items. it was beautifully cooked - just cold.
