Facilities are fantastic and the campsite is 9/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small but very well run campground within easy walking distance of Takaka shops. Excellent amenities, beautifully clean. We had 8 nights from Boxing Day 2020 in a motorhome and found it very well run by friendly helpful staff. A great base for exploring the region. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impecable and well organised campground, affordable and with a convenient location. Facilities were just a few steps from our cabin, all in perfect condition.Small individual toilets with great showers was greatly appreciated, and also the comfy beds.
Please consider that the campground is located in the middle of the town, so expect urban noises.
Helpful and considerate owners, definitely we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners are very rude. I never felt comfortable. All they want is money. We paid them for a week and on the second day their intention was to kick us out for no reason and they invented problems to charge us more money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owners of the place are unpleasant people and treated us badly after receiving our money. They looked for excuses every day to threaten to kick us out of the campsite. We felt uncomfortable from the first day we arrived. I do not recommend this place to stay if you are looking for nice people and a quiet stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I camped here for a week with my dog and had a great experience. The facilities were always clean, the grounds well kept, and the staff very welcoming. The location is also very convenient, being a short walk from the town center and nearby to many hot spots in Golden Bay.
I look forward to staying here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our favourite campground on our 10 day road trip. Incredibly clean, quiet, lovely spot and the owners were genuine nice people who were helpful and interested in what we were doing. Highly recommend!
