I was born and raised in Hamilton and have a background in mechanical engineering and military service.
From 2010 to 2015 I travelled extensively. Upon returning to New Zealand I began a three year programme of counsellor training, completing a Bachelor of Counselling at the end of 2017.
Now in my sixth year of counselling practice, I work full time in private practice in the Wellington CBD.
I am a contract counsellor with ACC, offering fully-funded therapeutic support for those who have experienced sexual violence. More information can be found in the FAQ section (and please note, I am not currently taking on new ACC clients). I am also a contract counsellor for the OCP employee assistance programme.
I continue to be well supported in my professional development, attending weekly supervision with an experienced psychotherapist, and in the process of extending my training as a psychotherapist.
