★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello everyone I give this Campground a 1 Star recommendation because the Owner was very unfriendly to me and my Friends. She is an old Lady that has a very unwelcomeing behavior. She wanted that we leav at 10 am so we couldn't even finish our breakfast. Also it wasn't possible to leave the food for a few hours after the early Checkout in the fridge of the Campground. It wasn't even full that day otherwise I would hafe understud that. For the Price of 20 Dollars per night we got kicked out at 10 am without a Breakfast! This old embittered Woman realy didn't seemed to me as if she would like to have Guest's on her Campingplace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed here twice and can't wait to stay again. The owners are lovely and the grounds are beautifully tidy and well maintained. The showers are amazing! The walk to the beach is gorgeous, and great for dogs and mountain bikes. Highly recommend Te Puni to all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic campground with beach access to a lovely fishing spot across the rd at high tide or a stroll along the white sandy beach and dunes for a picnic at low tide. Perfect for kayaks, bikes, fishing, bird watching and peace and quiet. Lovely clean updated buildings with fantastic staff. Highly recommended

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is actually AMAZING!! Slice of paradise. The owners are super lovely and I was very impressed by the facilities available. Bathrooms looks very new, hot water everywhere and great kitchen/dining area.
And a stone's throw from Manakapua Island! You can walk out to a sand dune island and have a private beach.
Definitely gonna recommend this place to anyone who will listen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came for a few days and stayed for ten as I loved it so much! This is a spic and span, well appointed campground that had everything I needed and was quiet and peaceful. The owners gave me great country hospitality and have a well run ship here. I hopefully will be back sometime. I wasn't venturing far but others walked, fished and birdwatched around here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Campground is set amongst farmland, approximately 1.2 walk through farmlands to Kaipara Harbor (tidal go at low tide).
Lovely spotlessly clean campground with new facilities, camp sites somewhat undulating but as fairly empty we had no difficulty finding a level site. Showers are free and washing machine cost a dollar to use, kitchen has great appliances and sinks with utensils and cleaning supplies available. Gas bbq free to use and cooks well. Hosts were friendly and laid back.
We particularly enjoyed the quiet and star filled night sky. Would certainly come back again.
