About Tauranga Knitting Centre
During the past year with the COVID 19 pandemic we have seen an upsurge in people young and old, men and women taking up the knitting needles and learning the craft of knitting and crocheting.
With a newly refurbished store which is light, and bright and the introduction of some new and exciting products. Annette and Graham are looking forward to continuing the service offered over the years to the Tauranga knitting community and New Zealand at large.
Although Lynette has retired that wealth of knowledge is not lost.
Annette and Sue are here to help, if you have a problem and we do not know the answer, we will endeavor to source the answer, or a work around.
If you can’t knit or crochet or just don’t have the time in your busy schedule to create that special bespoke item for you or someone special, that’s OK too just talk to the team and we can get the job done for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Refused a refund on one ball of wool purchased very recently after buying thousands of dollars worth in the past. No good will there now. A check that the same lot number as the returned yarn is still in store would help in deciding whether or not to give a refund. A straight "No refund" is very bad customer relations.

Knowledge and supply are only two of the requirements of a successful business, it's when you add service that the business becomes special. I have had many successful visits to this store where I have had all my questions answered and creative ideas endorsed. I have asked for specialised patterns which have been found for me and matching wool discovered and delivered. As I travel from Waihi Beach it is important to me that I come away from Tauranga Knitting Centre knowing that I have all that I need for my next creative endeavour and that I have been treated with knowledge, interest and kindness.
