★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ian was a great host onboard the taxicat, showed us some cool waterfalls and had hot coffee waiting when he picked us (and our mountain bikes) up on a cold day. Great way to see the lake.

Went to some beautiful spots, learned a little history, and had an epic while to jump off the boat and swim in the lake in a super interesting and exciting spot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an adventure!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a grande finale to a fabulous bike ride. What a bonus to be offered hot fresh coffee as we boarded! And then a short but sweet sightseeing visit to a couple of waterfalls was fabulous. On a picture perfect day the trip back across the lake to Kinloch was spectacular. The pick up was spot on time and the whole experience brilliant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fun way to get around Taupo. My friends and I enjoyed out trip to 2 mile Bay for dinner and back to the boat harbour after. Well worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very beautiful day out on the lake with Ian. Wonderful host and skipper!! Beautiful boat too ?. Seeing the western bays was a treat. Gorgeous waterfalls, bush, beaches, bays and stories. Thanks for your passion Ian. You are a wonderful ambassador for Taupo and NZ. ???

Greeted at the end if our Waihaha trail ride by Ian who efficiently loaded our bikes and offered us delicious coffee (tea and hot chocolate were also available) which his wife had prepared in thermos flasks. Was a lovely unexpected treat at the end of a big ride. Ian then kindly gave us a ten minute detour and showed us the nearby waterfalls.
Would definitely book again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a treat! Ian took us out for a quick dash across the lake to a serene little bay where we swam as the sun set. We climbed back on board to be met with a delicious hot chocolate made by the beautiful Jill! A truly perfect way to finish my time in Taupo - Ian and Jill are the perfect hosts!
