★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful bay and vista. Safe swimming. Tip - buy fish and chips at the Top Shop Matauri Bay (10 mins drive away) and bring here to eat. There are picnic tables, grassy areas and lovely beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's okay when the weather's fine. Besides that the beach is phenomenal. Lots of Rocky areas. Tons of beach, sand and shells to explore. Has public toilets. Beach is clean. Fun fun fun during summer. When the weather's not so fine expect massive waves forming and braking near the shore line. Sun, birds beautiful view what is there not to like?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was fairly windy today which made the water a bit "choppy". Was a good beach to collect seaweed for the garden (natures great fertiliser). Have a safe Easter all :)))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely beautiful spot to stop and take a breather from driving or just to take in the scenery. Lovely white sand, natural clean beach, easy for swimming, public recreational park and toilet but definitely no camping allowed here. Very popular beach in summer, advise getting there early if you want to spend the day there and set up a gazebo. No shops here but 15 min drive to Matauri Bay Top Shop for take a ways and the Blue Bar next door for meals and a cold beer or glass of wine.
