β β β β β The park is okey, nothing special. Just went there, because I freedom camped at the carpark. The toilets are clean, but it`s very noisy because of the street.

β β β β β MDC have not spent their Govt grant wisely here, they have lessened the parking space and not upgraded existing facilities/toilets. The number of vehicles that are turned away is certainly not a welcome to our area especially since it is so close to interislanders...

β β β β β This is a nice little lay by for a rest break ..on Google I required Freedom Camp close to Picton ready to exit the South island an Google directed me here.. there is a red sign that says no camping ..being s.c thought I was ok.. as others there too... we were all moved on by a patient and kind man who directed us to another area .. Perhaps a sign with the same directions could have avoided our original misinformation Of course we were more than happy to comply.. this new place is very nice beautiful and restful and recommend it... S.C is required

β β β β β Pretty good free camp. Classic toilets. 12 parking spaces, but it's usually fast full. Good place near Picton and ferry

β β β β β Free camping for any type of vehicle with very basic facilities. Great location on the way to the Picton ferry. Only 12 spaces available. We got one of the last two spots left. You park so close to each other. Since it is so close to the main road it can be very noisy. Toilets were okay. There are benches, saw one with a shelter.
