★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in with reservations for 13, looking forward to the 10% discount happy hour between 8-10pm as advertised. We were met with “Sorry, that’s no longer current but we haven’t been able to change it on our website.”
When we asked if they would still honour the advertised happy hour, we were met with a very rude and arrogant shrug of the shoulders.
Disappointing.
Last time we visited the waits were very long and we were the only ones there. Two of our seven orders were “never made” and came out 30 minutes after the others. But we decided to give it another go just in case it would be different.
Sad to see as the location is great and there’s so much potential if some decent management was put in place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Total disaster! We walked out! Arrived at 7pm. Arrived. Not well received by the lady owner. Very standoffish. Not very nice. She was lovely yesterday when we booked the table in person. We were looking forward for a wonderful meal as we have heard the food is lovely. Ordered our food. Guacamole - unavailable, spicy cauliflower - unavailable, hot water for those who don’t like anything cold - unavailable! So! we just didn’t feel this was a good fit. So we cancelled our order and left. Not impressed.

And service was quite bad, would recommend booking on a busy night - however not sure how it’s done since not available online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If even I used the first table to book, I can only gave 3 stars and wish I had never been there. Don’t order anything pull pork. I never had such bad pull pork before. Tacos have better value than the other food we ordered. Disappointed! The other fake Mexican food in NZ. Is there authentic Mexican food in NZ though?
